📘 SalesRevv Training: Editing Messaging & Steps in Brand Pipelines

Learn how to edit the messaging in a brand-level pipeline in SalesRevv, turn steps on or off, use variables, check segments, preview who qualifies and reset steps to default.

Introduction

If you're part of a franchise, most of your pipelines come from the brand level. Most locations are happy with the pipelines their brand provides and only want to adjust some of the wording.

You can edit a brand pipeline's messaging and turn its steps on or off without changing how the pipeline is built.

Brand-level pipelines show your brand's icon. Pipelines without the icon were created by your location.

What You Can Change in a Brand Pipeline

Open a brand pipeline to see all of its steps. Without rebuilding anything, you can:

  • Turn steps on or off: Toggle any step in the pipeline.

  • Manage the pipeline in Settings: Turn the pipeline on, pause it, stop it or disable it. Other settings stay locked to keep the pipeline the way your brand built it.

  • Preview who qualifies: Use the Preview button to see which clients should be in the pipeline.

  • Edit messaging: Change the wording of any step (see below).

If you want to add steps or change filters, duplicate the pipeline instead.

Editing a Step's Message

To change what a step says:

  1. Click the step. Its details open on the right-hand side.

  2. Review what's already built in, such as the action type (for example, a text message), the day it sends, its status and the current message.

  3. Edit the message however you like.

  4. Click Save to save the action.

While you edit, you can:

  • Check length: See how many SMS segments and characters the message uses. Learn more: 📘 SalesRevv Training: Billing & Segments

  • Use variables: The message comes with variables already loaded. Use the variables icon to add more. Learn more: 📘 SalesRevv Training: Custom Fields

  • Add images or emojis: Use the image and emoji icons.

  • Add instructions: Each step has an optional Instructions field.

  • Reset to Default: If you don't like your changes, reset the step back to the brand's original message.

Important: Always save the action after making changes, or your edits won't be kept.

Pro Tip: Start with the brand's message and adjust only what's specific to your location, such as a local promotion. You can always reset to default if you change your mind.
