πŸ“˜ SalesRevv Training: Billing & Segments

Manage billing, subscriptions, and payments in SalesRevv while tracking message segments, usage, and costs.

Updated over a month ago

Introduction

The Billing section in SalesRevv helps you manage your subscription, payment methods, and understand how message segments impact your usage and costs. Since the system is built on segments (not just messages), this section is key to tracking usage and avoiding surprises on your invoice.

What Billing Does

  • Shows your monthly payment amount and renewal date.

  • Provides quick links to update your payment method or view invoices.

  • Displays your current usage so you always know where you stand.

  • Helps you estimate and prepare for overage costs if you exceed your segment limit.

Understanding Segments

  • SalesRevv billing is based on segments, not just messages.

  • A message may contain multiple segments, depending on length, emojis, or links.

  • Each account has a set number of included segments per month.

  • Overages are charged per segment once you exceed your monthly allowance.

  • Segment usage is visible:

    • In the Billing section.

    • Inside the Inbox and Campaigns when writing or scheduling messages.

  • Reset dates are shown so you know when your allowance refreshes.

Tools in the Billing Section

  • Usage overview β†’ shows included vs. used segments and reset date.

  • Overage calculator β†’ estimates what your extra costs will be if you go over.

  • Breakdown view β†’ shows exactly how many segments you’ve used and what’s included in your plan.

  • Alerts β†’ overages will display in red with visual warnings.

Pro Tips

  • Check your segment usage regularly in the billing page, inbox, or campaigns.

  • Remember: longer messages, emojis, and links increase segment count.

  • Use the overage calculator to forecast costs before your invoice arrives.

  • Train staff to keep templates and campaigns concise to minimize overage risk.

  • Only account owners can access full billing details, but all users see segment usage in their tools.
