📘 SalesRevv Training: Creating a Text Campaign

Create, send, and track targeted text campaigns in SalesRevv’s Campaigns section.

Updated over a month ago

Introduction

The Campaigns section in SalesRevv allows you to create and manage text campaigns (sometimes called “blast messages”). Campaigns let you reach a group of clients at once with targeted communication, while tracking results like delivery rates and failures.

What the Campaigns Tab Does

  • Shows a dashboard of past and upcoming campaigns with titles, send dates, delivery rates, and statuses (sent, scheduled, drafts, canceled).

  • Provides filters to quickly view campaigns by status.

  • Allows you to create new campaigns, customize recipients, and compose messages.

Creating a Text Campaign

  1. Start a Campaign

    • Go to Campaigns → Create Campaign.

    • Enter a campaign name and optional description.

  2. Add Recipients

    • Pull recipients from your POS system (e.g., client types, membership status).

    • Use SalesRevv filters (e.g., tags, stacks, AI assistant, prospect types).

    • Narrow your audience by timeframe (e.g., new prospects in the last 7 days).

    • Add up to 2,000 recipients at a time.

    • Total selected recipients are shown at the bottom.

  3. Compose Your Message

    • Type your message in the text box.

    • Use emojis or variables (like first name) for personalization.

    • Insert a saved template if desired.

    • Segment count is displayed automatically.

  4. Schedule or Send

    • Choose Send Now, Schedule for later (specific date and time), or Save as draft.

    • The system pre-scans your list to exclude invalid phone numbers so you don’t waste segments.

Important Notes on Segments

  • SalesRevv bills by message segments, not messages.

  • Emojis, links, and longer text increase the segment count.

  • Segment usage and overages are always displayed at the bottom of the campaign builder.

Pro Tips

  • Use filters to narrow your audience to the most relevant clients (e.g., new leads from the last 7 days).

  • Keep campaigns short and personalized to reduce segment usage and improve response rates.

  • Save common campaign formats as templates to speed up future outreach.

  • Always check the segment counter and recipient validity before scheduling or sending.
