Introduction

Messaging settings in SalesRevv allow you to manage the compliance text message that is automatically sent the first time a customer receives a message from the system and to enable logging options for phone calls and in-person interactions. These settings ensure compliance requirements are met while giving your team flexibility to track additional types of communication.

What Messaging Settings Do

  • Manage the compliance text message sent the first time a customer receives a message from the system.

  • Provide logging options for phone calls and in-person interactions.


Navigating Messaging Settings

  • Found under Settings β†’ Messaging.

  • Phone Call Logging β†’ Toggle on/off to allow staff to log phone calls in the inbox.

  • In-Person Interaction Logging β†’ Toggle on/off to allow logging of face-to-face conversations.

  • Text Message Compliance:

    • Sent automatically the first time a customer receives a message from the system.

    • Sent only once per customer.

    • Required legal wording cannot be edited.

    • Your location name appears automatically.

    • You may add short custom text to personalize it.


Important Notes on Compliance Messaging

  • Default compliance message = 1 segment.

  • Adding extra text, emojis, or links may increase segment count.

  • A live preview shows how the message will appear as you edit it.

  • Always save changes after editing.


Pro Tips

  • Turn on logging options if you want staff to track calls and in-person conversations in the inbox.

  • Keep compliance edits short and clear to avoid higher segment usage.

  • Remind staff that compliance messages are automatic and required β€” no manual step is needed.

  • Use the preview to test how custom text impacts segment count.
