📘 SalesRevv Training: Using Pipeline Templates

Learn how to use SalesRevv pipeline templates, including outreach levels, previews, settings like Daily Task Limit and Allow Re-entry, filters and editing template steps.

Introduction

Pipeline templates give you a starting point for a new pipeline, with the filters, steps and suggested messaging already built. They work much like workflow templates.

Using a template takes a little more setup than duplicating a pipeline, and a lot less than building one from scratch.

Choosing the Right Option

Most locations will use one of the first three options:

Finding Pipeline Templates

Go to AI HQ > Pipelines and click Templates.

Use the menu on the left to browse by type. At the top, filter by how much outreach you want:

  • Light: One text per step.

  • Standard: SalesRevv's recommended mix of texts, emails and calls. This is where we see the most success.

  • Aggressive: More frequent outreach.

Before you choose a template, you can scroll over it to preview every step it includes. The filters it uses are shown on the right, so you know exactly who it targets before you add it.

Why Unscheduled Leads Are Split Into Stages

Templates for unscheduled leads are split into stages, such as 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days and cooled off. This lets your team see exactly what stage each lead is in, including on the Opportunities Board, and gives you more control when moving clients.

You can still build a single 30-day pipeline if you prefer. The stages are our recommended approach.

Adding a Template

Select the template you want and click Add Pipeline. The pipeline opens with its steps already built.

Pro Tip: Start in Settings before editing the steps. Setting the pipeline's purpose and filters first makes it easier to write the right messaging.

Reviewing Settings

In Settings, you'll find:

  • Name & Description: Already filled in. For example, an Unscheduled 7 Days template describes prospects created within seven days who haven't scheduled their first visit. Update them if your pipeline has a different purpose, such as an unscheduled journey for one lead type.

  • Category: Where the pipeline is grouped.

  • Starting Delay: When Day 1 begins. In most cases, keep this at 0.

  • Daily Task Limit: The most tasks this pipeline can create in a day. This applies to this pipeline only, not your whole system. 50 is usually plenty. It matters most after a mass upload, such as 300 leads from an event, so your team isn't hit with all of those tasks at once.

  • Allow Re-entry: We recommend keeping this off. If it's on, clients can enter the pipeline again after completing it.

  • Order: Where the pipeline appears in your pipeline views.

Customizing Filters

The template's filters are already set. To change who enters, add or edit a filter. For example, add Referral Type is any of Instagram to send your Instagram leads into their own pipeline.

Save the filter, then check how many clients match. Click Preview to see exactly who would fall into the pipeline.

Click Save to save your settings.

Enabling the Pipeline

Once your settings and steps are ready, scroll to the bottom of Settings and enable the pipeline.

Editing Steps

Steps from a template come with generic messaging already written. You can use it as is, edit it or delete it completely.

Each step also has optional AI Instructions, which give your AI Assistant more context about the purpose of the outreach. For example, note that this is an Instagram lead receiving a special offer. In most cases, a suggested script is enough and your AI Assistant handles the rest.

To change the steps:

  • Delete a step: Remove any step you don't want, such as a Day 2 email.

  • Add a step between two steps: Click the + button. An alert lets you know the later steps will be pushed back. Adjust their days afterward if needed.

  • Add a step at the end: Click Add Step at the bottom.

Important: Steps you add yourself don't include generic messaging. Write your message, then click Save Action.

Important: Keep your days within the pipeline's timeframe. For example, an Unscheduled 7 Days pipeline shouldn't have a step on Day 8.

Pro Tip: If your brand isn't part of a franchise, templates are a great way to build pipelines around what your business needs without starting from a blank page.
