Control what Hailee handles vs. staff with settings in the Abilities tab.

Introduction

The Abilities tab defines what Hailee is allowed to handle on her own and what should instead be directed to staff. All settings here come preloaded with SalesRevvโ€™s recommendations, so you donโ€™t need to change anything unless you want to adjust how Hailee interacts with clients.

Think of this tab as a control panel: youโ€™re deciding whether Hailee should execute an action herself, reply but notify staff, or stop and create a staff task without replying.

What Youโ€™ll See in the Abilities Tab

  • Enabled Abilities โ€“ Actions Hailee is currently allowed to perform (e.g., booking classes, providing schedules).

  • Disabled Abilities โ€“ Actions Hailee is restricted from handling directly (e.g., rescheduling).

  • Failure Settings โ€“ Instructions for what to do if Hailee cannot complete the action (create staff task, reply with fallback message, etc.).

  • Response Options โ€“ For each action, you can choose:

    • Reply without creating a staff task

    • Create a staff task and reply

    • Create a staff task but donโ€™t reply


Examples of Abilities

Class & Appointment Booking

  • If enabled, Hailee can provide class or appointment options directly.

  • If something fails (like a scheduling API issue), she can be set to create a staff task so a human follows up.

Class Rescheduling

  • Often disabled, since many studios prefer staff to confirm schedule changes.

  • When disabled, Hailee will create a staff task and leave the request unread so staff can handle it.

Sales & Memberships

  • Providing Options: Hailee can share active membership or package details. Some studios prefer this paired with a staff task so a team member can follow up with a phone call.

  • Purchasing: If the purchase is free (trial, free class), Hailee can complete it automatically. If it involves payment, she will send a secure purchase link. You may want to create a staff task here to confirm the sale and personally engage with a warm lead.


Why This Matters

These settings give you flexibility over what Hailee can execute vs. what staff should oversee. For example:

  • Let Hailee handle everyday actions like booking classes.

  • Have her notify staff when thereโ€™s a potential sale opportunity.

  • Ensure clients never get stuck if AI cannot complete an action โ€” staff will always be looped in.


Pro Tip: Review the Abilities tab when onboarding to confirm it aligns with your comfort level. Most studios stick with the default setup, but you can always adjust as your team learns when itโ€™s best for Hailee to step in vs. when staff should take over.
