πŸ“˜ SalesRevv Training: Client Types

Define client types from your POS in SalesRevv to guide AI communication.

Updated over a month ago

Introduction

Client types in SalesRevv come directly from your POS system. They provide important background information about prospects, referrals, and memberships that the AI uses to communicate more effectively. By setting descriptions and instructions for each type, you help the AI understand who your clients are and how they should be handled.

What Client Types Do

  • Pull in prospect, referral, and membership types from your POS system.

  • Attach directly to each client’s profile.

  • Give AI the context it needs to personalize communication.

  • Help organize qualified vs. non-qualified leads in your dashboard.

Navigating Client Types

  • Prospect Types β†’ Examples: ClassPass, Cooled Off, Trial, etc.

  • Referral Types β†’ Show where a client came from (e.g., Facebook, friends & family, other brands).

  • Membership Types β†’ Define client membership levels based on POS setup.

  • Each client profile shows their associated types and tags.

Adding Descriptions & AI Instructions

  • Description β†’ Provides AI with background context about the client type.

  • AI Instructions β†’ Guide AI on how to handle communication with clients in this type.

  • Edit by double-clicking in the chart or opening the vertical/expanded view.

  • Add details, save changes, and update as needed.

  • Options include marking whether the type is:

    • Qualified β†’ True/false flag that defines if clients are sales-ready.

    • Active β†’ True/false flag controlling whether clients with this type flow into stacks, workflows, or automations.

Example Use Cases

  • Deactivate a one-week trial type once it’s no longer relevant so trial clients stop entering workflows.

  • Mark referral types as qualified or not qualified depending on your sales process.

  • Use AI instructions to tell the system how to approach clients from different sources (e.g., treat a cooled-off prospect differently than a warm referral).

Pro Tips

  • Keep descriptions short but clear so AI always has the right context.

  • Regularly review qualified vs. non-qualified to keep your dashboard accurate.

  • Use the active toggle to control which client types flow into automations.

  • Rely on the question mark icons in the platform if you need quick help while editing.
