Control client progress in Pipelines with pause, stop, or move actions in SalesRevv.

Introduction

Pipeline action controls allow you to manage how a client moves through a Pipeline. From the Pipeline view or the client profile, you can pause, stop, or move a client to ensure they are handled appropriately based on their situation. These controls are separate from compliance opt-ins/opt-outs, which govern legal communication preferences.


What Pipeline Action Controls Do

  • Pause a Client → Temporarily holds a client in place within the Pipeline.

  • Stop a Client → Fully removes a client from the Pipeline and halts all communication and tasks.

  • Move a Client → Transfers a client from one Pipeline to another.


Using the Controls

  • Pause

    • Freezes a client at their current point in the Pipeline(e.g., Day 5).

    • Remains paused until the chosen date and time.

    • On that date/time, the client automatically resumes and continues through the Pipeline.

  • Stop

    • Ends all activity for the client in that Pipeline

    • No further outreach, automation, or tasks will be created.

    • Use when a client should no longer be contacted (e.g., moved away, no longer a lead).

  • Move

    • Transfers a client from one Pipeline to another (e.g., from “Third-Party Vendor” to “Unscheduled 24-Hour Leads”).

    • Useful for when a client’s situation changes, ensuring they receive the correct type of follow-up.


Compliance Reminder

  • Pausing, stopping, and moving a client are Pipeline management tools only.

  • They are different from opt-ins/opt-outs, which control compliance and legal communication preferences.

  • Opt-in/opt-out settings determine whether the client can legally be messaged; Pipeline controls determine how they progress inside workflows.


👉 Pro Tip: Use Pause for temporary delays (e.g., waiting on client response), Stop when outreach should end completely, and Move when a client belongs in a different journey. Always remember compliance toggles are managed separately.
