Options for setting up a phone number with SalesRevv, including using your existing number through porting or receiving a new local number.

Phone Number Preferences

The phone number that SalesRevv uses to activate your account depends on your preference:

  • Use your current local number for platform texting, or

  • Have us provide you with a local number.

Please answer accordingly in the questionnaire.


Option 1: We Source a Number for You

If we source a number, this process is straightforward:

  • We will obtain a local number for your system.

  • Once we receive this number, we will confirm it with you.

  • At that point, we’ll prepare your launch plan and provide you with a timeline.

Option 2: We Use Your Current Number

If you choose to use your existing number, we will:

  • Submit a porting request with our third-party phone number provider.

  • Transfer the number from their system into ours (Porting process takes 1-72 hours).

Important Notes:

  • We cannot port cell phone numbers or numbers from platforms that already have texting features enabled.

  • If we use your Connect number, please note that Connect will no longer function, as the number will be ported from the Connect system.

  • The porting timeline is dependent on the third-party vendor. While we cannot provide an official launch date, we will provide you with a port request date.

  • Once the request is submitted, the porting process typically takes 1–72 hours.

  • You will not experience any downtime during this transition.
